The three story Charlotte Masonic Temple, located at the corner of South Cochran Avenue and Seminary Street, is 111 years old.  Every time I personally drive through downtown Charlotte and see the Masonic Temple, I think about all the great history that represents this beautiful building.

Its second floor is being renovated into four apartments.  Once the work is finished in May there will be three two-bedroom apartments and one one-bedroom apartment for rent.

They'll be spacious, with new appliances and recessed lighting, granite counter tops and lots of natural light coming through floor to ceiling windows.  The Lansing State Journal has more.
