The CAHS second largest fundraiser of the year! Walk For The Animals - Paws In The Park, Saturday, October 13th at Cooley Law School Stadium.

WHAT:
The Walk for the Animals-Paws in the Park is our second largest fundraiser of the year, with a Halloween/fall theme. Proceeds from the event are used to save the lives of pets in Mid-Michigan.

The fundraiser is simple:

1. Walkers register and collect donations from friends, family, neighbors, etc.
2. Walkers and dogs gather for a fun-filled day of activities, including demonstrations, a doggy costume contest, cider & donuts, trick or treating for attendees and dogs, vendors, lunch, and more.
3. Participants also collect prizes and incentives for reaching certain fundraising levels.

WHEN:
Saturday, October 13, 2018 (rain or shine) at 1 p.m.

WHERE:
Cooley Law School Stadium (home of the Lansing Lugnuts) in Downtown Lansing

PARKING:
On-street parking (meters) is free in downtown Lansing on the weekends.

REGISTRATION FEES:
Registration fees help us pay for the event and make certain that your donations go further to help the animals.

The registration fee is $25 per person.

Your registration fee includes an event t-shirt, lunch, goody bag, access to the doggy ice cream eating contest sign-up and doggy costume contest sign-up, trick or treating, and cider and donuts.

HOW:
Register, then raise funding by asking friends and family to sponsor you!

We ask all Walk attendees to have a goal of raising a minimum of $50 beyond the registration fee.

Prefer collecting cash and checks? Use our downloadable pledge form, then bring your donations to the event or to Early Bird Registration (dates to be determined).

WHY:
In addition to helping CAHS to save the lives of more homeless animals, you can earn incentive prizes based on the amount of fundraising you do.
