What are the two most venomous spiders in North America?

The Black Widow and the Brown Recluse. And a family in the Michigan town of Davison in Genesee County recently discovered Brown Recluse spiders in their garage. The Brown recluse may be a rare spider but they're extremely poisonous and their bite can devastate your leg, arm, or whatever they bite (see photo gallery above).

As you'll see in the photo gallery above, these are NASTY, NASTY bites that are inflicted by these spiders. Take a look but keep in mind, THEY ARE GRAPHIC. You'll also see photos of the spider itself so you can identify it if you come across one.

Even though the bite itself isn't too painful, the pain kicks in around 2-8 hours after being bitten and a trip to the emergency room is the best thing to do...don't let this bite fester and get worse. The infection can cause hemolysis, the rupture or destruction of red blood cells.

Next time you visit your basement, garage, attic, or any other dark, dank places around the home, keep in mind, these spiders LOVE those places and they hide out in dark corners and cracks.

How did these spiders get up here, when they're usually found in southern states? They crawl into luggage, clothes and plants and take their trips up here.

If you find one of these little S.O.B.'s, don't just kill it or blow off your discovery...call the Michigan Dept. of Agriculture or some pest control agency.

Take a look at the photo gallery above, then watch the video below for info what to do if bitten by a Brown recluse spider.
