Britney Spears and her brand new Aussie BFF Iggy Azalea had us all crimping our hair, re-watching Earth Girls Are Easy and heading to the nearest car wash with the goofy video for their funky fresh new single, "Pretty Girls."

But what would happen when the pretty duo beamed down to bring their summer jam to the stage for the first time at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night (May 17)?

A pretty good time — that's what.

Every pretty girl needs a pretty set, which is why the girls were surrounded by neon rope-toting muscle men, space fembots, skater girls and neon light bike riding bad boys to create Pretty World: a futuristic utopia full of pretty girls 'n stuff.

The two took turns crossing the stage at Brit's Piece Of Me performance venue in Planet Hollywood, with Britney delivering fierce choreography and ample amounts of hair flips in her sexy urban momma space alien get-up. (Seriously, talk about a hot bo-deh. She still knows how to put in work bitch!) For her part, I-G-G-Y supplied her own brand of red tip-dipped sass in her silvery space look. Throw in some pyrotechnics and some high five tag-team action, and you've got yourself a truly cool and funky collabo.

This was a key performance for Brit Brit, too: Apart from her cameo during Rihanna's "S&M" opener and Nicki Minaj's closing set during the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, Brit Brit's last award show performance in America was the now infamous 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Accordingly, the pressure was on for the pop icon's performance...and she delivered in the form of a truly Polishedney performance.
