Pizza is one of my favorite foods. In fact, I LOVE PIZZA!

From the Archives, I can recall many pizza joints that we all miss today. A few of the many pizza joints were Shakey's Pizza, Pappy's Pizza, DeMarco's Pizza and Stopwatch Pizza.

Does anyone remember "My Cousins Pizza"? There pizza was absolutely delicious. When I was in high school, that was the place to hang out after high school football games. My friends and I would go there just about every Friday night.

According to the Lansing State Journal, it's no surprise that many of the area's best pizza joints were located in Lansing and East Lansing.

Bilbo's Pizza in a Pan came on the scene in the early 1980's in East Lansing. Named after J.R.R. Tolkien hero Bilbo Baggins, it was decorated in a Hobbit theme.

The stuffed pizza was a new concept at the time. Two light layers of dough, stuffed with lots of cheese and other ingredients.

The family owned and operated Bell's Pizza House opened a location in the early 1970's at 225 M.A.C. in East Lansing. Besides slices, you could get grinders and other Greek delights. This location closed some time in the 1990's.
