Best Beach Towns All Across The Country

You can do this!  Yes it is very cold, but if you can just hang on Spring will be here in 37 days.

With that in mind, it is never to early to start planning your summer vacation.  If your 'dream vacation' has you and your family staying at a place of the water this list should help you with your planning.

Best Lake Getaways In U.S.

  Branson, Missouri is a family-friendly lake town.  Many have traveled there for the music venues, but this area has wonderful beaches, marinas and offers scuba diving and some of the best trout fishing in the country.

Baraboo, Wisconsin is a beautiful lake town, on the shore of Devil's Lake State Park.  Along with the beaches and water sports, this area also offers rock climbing.

  Brainerd, Minnesota.  I have been to Minnesota a couple of times but only for football games.  Next time I will spend more time there, especially during the summer.  The Brainerd lake area offers all the summer outdoor fun you can imagine.  Hiking, swimming, boating, golf, fishing and even a few Craft Breweries.

Traverse City.  What can I say about this gem in our state located on the shores of Grand Travers Bay.  This sleepy city burst's to life in the summer with campers, boaters, ,beach lovers also offering fantastic restaurants and shops.  Love summers spent in Traverse City and visiting during the Cherry Festival is a must.

  Sonora, California.  Just looking at a photo from this lake town literally takes your breath away.  The beautiful pristine water and the big sky and mountains, you won't know  where one ends and the other begins. This lake town has some of the best restaurants and boutique shopping along with 3 museums.  Sonora is close to Yosemite National Park and has been called the 'jewel' of the national parks system.

This is just a snippet of the list of best lake getaways, do a little research and start making your summer reservations now.  Prices at hotels and resorts in these lake towns has always been affordable and now thanks to the pandemic they are even more affordable.
