Bad News: Lansing Area In For Significant Snow This Week
Don't let Tuesday's 60-degree temperatures fool you: Winter isn't over yet.
The National Weather Service is forecasting significant snowfall for the Lansing area on Thursday. Soaking rains Wednesday will transition to snow by Thursday afternoon, causing problems for commuters Thursday evening and Friday morning.
Wind gusts are expected to reach higher than 35 miles per hour and could lead to power outages.
All told, the Lansing area will get between 3 and 6 inches of snowfall, according to the National Weather Service.
