My broadcasting career began in 1999 and I have spent most of it in Michigan. I was born and raised in the Kalamazoo suburb of Parchment. I married my wife Lacy in Las Vegas in 2006. We enjoy traveling, meteorology, aurora hunting, astronomy, music, movies, television and much more. We also enjoy the company of our cat companions, Stanley and Gordie, as well as the serenity of our fish aquarium. I enjoy history, (especially local and Michigan-related), among other hobbies. I am a huge Western Michigan sports fan as well as the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Pistons.
