Can you believe that it has been just about two years since we were able to fill the seats at MSU's Spartan Stadium?

It's true, but things are about to change for the better. Even though Spartan Stadium holds about 75,000 fans, that doesn't mean we'll see that many fans at any of the upcoming MSU football games.

What this does mean is more things getting back to normal including cheering on our MSU men's football team at Spartan Stadium during home games.

According to the Lansing State Journal:

Football has always brought people together in East Lansing, and that will happen again for six Saturday's this fall. Tailgates will return. Students will be on campus again. The marching band will be at games. Restaurants and hotels will eagerly regain the business they lost in 2020.

Nothing is better than Michigan State football at Spartan Stadium. I love going to home games with all the excitement that goes with it.

MSU's season opener will take place against Youngstown State on Saturday, September 11 and Spartan fans can hardly wait.

We do know that if you're sitting in open air seats at Spartan Stadium, you don't have to wear a mask. Anyone who will be in the concourse areas of the stadium should be wearing a mask at all times.

I can hardly wait for the first home game this season and you better believe that all of the college students at MSU are pumped up and ready for some Green and White fun come game day at Spartan Stadium.
