ABANDONED MICHIGAN: The Old Farmhouse in the Woods
WARNING: Under no circumstances should you enter this property. By doing so you risk bodily harm and/or prosecution for trespassing on private property.
Somewhere near the Macomb County village of Armada lies an old farmhouse... abandoned for about 25 years.
The town was originally called Burke's Corners, founded by Elijah Burke in 1833. Forty-five years later, in 1878, this particular house was built.
This old house embraces a lot of history, as well as a lot of stuff left behind. Why would someone leave so much stuff? Closets filled with clothes, food, medicine, furniture.....why leave it all unless you were being immediately evicted? Or scared?
