10 Year Anniversary of Empty Plates Auction to be Held May 17 at Kellogg Hotel

A private dinner with Michigan State University head football coach Mark Dantonio and wife Becky Dantonio is one of several live auction items that will raise funds for the Greater Lansing Food Bank.

This is the 10 year anniversary of the Empty Plate Strolling Dinner and Auction, to be held May 17 in the Big Ten Room at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center.

The event features the area's top restaurants and chefs, live and silent auctions and a commemorative "empty plate" decorated by local school children.

The Greater Lansing Food Bank provides emergency food to individuals and families in need in seven counties.  The Lansing State Journal has more.
