Do you sit all day at work, because if you do, you need to move and here is why staying active is vital.

Even if you walk to and from the bus stop for your commute, you could add 15 minutes of exercise to your day by choosing an earlier stop a few blocks from  your office.   If you drive to work, park in the farthest spot in the parking is those small steps that count a lot.

The more we work, the more sedentary we become.  Yes our brains are working but if your bo9dy is not moving you could be dealing with severe health pro9blems down the road.

The National Institutes of Health reports that if we spend more time moving and less sitting, we can reduce the chances for severe health problems that includes heart disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and some cancers.

In today’s society most adults don['t even engage in the minimum recommended physical activity.  That would be 150 minutes a week of brisk walking , not a stroll, but a brisk walk.  You can break down your activities into at least 10 to 15 minutes increments.

That works out  to about 30 minutes a day, five times a week.

Keep in mind, small changes now in your physical activity can bring you huge benefits for your long term health.
