Heavy, wet snow is headed our way. Starting Sunday night all the way into early Monday afternoon. We're looking at 4 to 6 inches staring about midnight. Maybe earlier and maybe more. Your morning commute will be impacted.

Here's the weather advisory from the National Weather Service.

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 1 PM EST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches expected. Locally higher amounts possible.

* WHERE...Eaton, Ingham, Van Buren, Kalamazoo and Calhoun counties.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 1 PM EST Monday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow will cause travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving. Also, shoveling heavy wet snow can put a big strain on the heart. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks. Only move small amounts with each shovel pass.
