Winter Weather Advisory for Lower Michigan Through Sunday Morning

A winter weather advisory is in effect from now until 7 a.m. Sunday for much of lower Michigan, including the Lansing area, as yet another precipitation packed weather system rolls through.

According to the Lansing State Journal, we're looking at a snowfall of 4 inches or so in the Lansing area.  We will see snow through Saturday, possible mixed with freezing rain.

Tonight's commute will be the most impacted, then Saturday morning into Saturday.  If we do get freezing rain, there's no downplaying ice on the roadway.  That's always a hazard.  Here's the latest from the Lansing State Journal.
