Wide Spread Power Outage in Lansing

About 30,000 Lansing Board of Water & Light customers are without power in Lansing.

A problem at the Eckert substation caused the outage shortly before 10 a.m. this morning.

Crews are investigating the cause.  Officials advise motorists who encounter inoperable traffic lights to treat the intersection as a four-way stop.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal
