What’s Up for the Weekend?
The sun will be shining and there are a lot of fun things to do in the Lansing Area.
New at the movies: Kevin Costner in "3 days to Kill" and "Pompeii" starring Kit Harrison and Kiefer Sutherland.
Tonight you can take in the MSU Professors of Jazz at the Cook Recital Center on the MSU campus
Live Theatre has a lot to offer with "Prelude to a Kiss" at LCC's Dart Auditorium, "Lion in Winter" at the Williamston Theatre, "Great Pirate Adventures" from the Mid Michigan Family Theatre at the Southside Community Center and "Beauty and the Beast" at the Wharton Center.
Saturday you can go to the MSU Museum for their "Dig the Past hands on Archeology Day" and attend the Lansing City Markets' 2nd Annual Mini Chile and Salsa Cookoff or The MSU Orchid show and sale at the MSU Plant and Soil Science Conservatory and if Community Bands are what you're into there's the Red Cedar Festival of Community Bands at Okemos High School.
Sunday it's all about chocolate at the MSU Museums 25th annual Chocolate Party.
