What’s The Fixation With Women And Wine?

Just like the caption says...what's the deal? I see so many ladies posting pictures of themselves holding a glass of wine. WHY? Is it supposed to look elegant? I google- imaged "women holding glasses of wine" and there was an endless supply of pictures. So then I google-imaged "men holding beer" and the amount of photos wasn't even CLOSE to those of the ladies. At least the ladies looked poised while the guys usually looked liked drunken doofuses (or is that "doofi"?)...but I'm curious what the fixation is between women and wine: Elegance? Woo-hoo party time? Anyone know?
