What’s going on this weekend?

It's a beautiful sunny day, what are your plans this weekend?  There are some cool things going on around the greater Lansing area.  Today is small business Saturday so if you are in the mood to shop, look around in your own downtown be that Lansing or Old Town, Holt, Mason, Williamston, or where ever you live.  Sunday is also the First Sunday Gallery walk with new exhibits, refreshments and holiday art markets like the one at the Lansing Art Gallery.  You will find art exhibits in unexpected places too.  The Michigan Womens Hall of Fame has an exhibit, the Greater Lansing Housing coalition has an exhibit and of course there are more obvious locations like The Broad art museum.

There is a gingerbread jamboree and Christmas carol competition in Williamston today and the Williamston Theatre"Over the River and Through the Woods" is in previews today and tomorrow.

Performances of the Children's Ballet Theatre's  "the Nutcracker" continue thru tomorrow  at The Wharton Center.-
