Volunteers of America Have a Plan for Panhandlers

Panhandlers can make you sad, uncomfortable and not sure wether you are really helping them or not.  I spoke to Mark Criss from the City Rescue Mission a while back and he told me that no-one in Lansing should be hungry.  There are plenty of soup kitchens, shelters and pantry's around the city to feed everyone.  There are also shelters for days, nights and weekends.  the Volunteers of America have started a new program to get that information out.  Here's the video from WILX Channel 10.
