Valentine’s Day & Singles Awareness Day…Which do YOU Prefer?
February 14: VALENTINE'S DAY
February 15: SINGLES AWARENESS DAY
It seems like they kinda cancel each other out, doesn't it? Let's take one at a time...
According to a survey conducted by nationaltoday.com, "Singles Awareness Day" recognizes those who are single, for better or worse. They concluded:
1) 14% of Americans love being single.
2) Women seem to thrive on being single more than men...only 9% of single ladies are looking for a guy while 20% of single men strive to find a girlfriend.
3) 23%-25% of single ladies say they would rather spend their Valentine's Day with their pet pooches instead of their boyfriends...only 7% of unmarried men think the same way. And by the way, 50% of Americans admit to doing something special for their pets on Valentine's Day, whether it's a treat or something out-of-the-ordinary.
NOW...according to a Valentine's Day survey of 1,000 Americans conducted by the same website just last month:
