Two SUVs Claimed the Top Spots in Kogod’s Made in America Auto Index

The Lansing built 2017 Chevrolet Traverse and the Lansing built Buick Enclave claimed the top spots in Kogod's 2017 Made in America Auto Index along with the 2017 GMC Acadia, which was built in Spring Hill, Tennessee.

The previous Acadia models were built in Lansing until May.  The three SUVs are made with 85.5% domestic content.  The Ford F-150 came in second with 85% and the Chevrolet Corvette placed third with 82%.

The Delta Township plant started manufacturing the new generation Traverse this week.  It will hit the market later this summer.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
