What a great time Wednesday at the annual media shootout at the Ingham County Sheriff's office.  This event has been going on for many years and it gives people in the media a chance to shoot at a paper target using a 9 millimeter hand gun.

Several people here from Townsquare Media were there testing their shooting skills, to become the next person to be awarded the special plaque that is handed out with the winners name engraved on the award.

People from TV stations, radio stations, the Lansing State Journal and more were there at the Sheriff's Office to take part in the event.

To my surprise, I ended up with the top score of 99 with four X shots.  The next score was 98.6.  Not only was it a great time, I had the pleasure of meeting the new sheriff, Scott Wrigglesworth, who shook my hand and congratulated me on winning the event.  The hospitality was great and the sheriff's office even bought us lunch.  Thank you very much for everything!
