Back in the day when I went to Lansing Community College, the cost per credit was roughly 35 dollars.  Lansing Community College students will see their tuition bills increase by 12.5 percent this fall.

In district students, who comprise the majority of LCC's enrollment, will see their rates increase $11 per billing hour, to $99.  The increase is significantly higher than the average yearly tuition increase of 3.17 percent over the past seven years.

While LCC is no longer tied for the cheapest community college in the state, LCC's in district tuition rate is below the statewide average of $106 per billing hour.  Here's the latest from the Lansing State Journal.
