Now It’s Against The Law To Walk Across Railroad Tracks
What's going on here...a very dear acquaintance was accosted by a local policeman for walking across railroad tracks on the way to the grocery store. Was told "if I catch you walking across the tracks again you'll be ticketed and fined."
Oh...so another little chunk of our freedom has been ripped away from us. Does anyone have any explanation for this? Do you feel it's for the "children's safety" when kids can just as easily cross tracks ANYWHERE, ANYTIME?
How do YOU feel about this? I'm all for safety but this instance has an unpleasant after-taste.
