Tom Izzo Reflects on Lacey Holsworth

UPDATE: Princess Lacey's memorial service will be at the Breslin Center

Lacey Holsworth, the 8-year-old girl from St. Johns who battled a rare form of cancer for several years and befriended Michigan State star Adreian Payne has passed away.

Lacy became friends with Payne two years ago in a Lansing hospital and Payne got so close to Lacy Holsworth that she was his guest to walk onto the Bresin Center floor for his Senior Night ceremony last month.

Lacy was able to travel to watch the Spartans play at the NCAA tournament in New York and cheered on Payne in a college slam dunk contest last week in Texas.
