Target Plans to Open a New Store in East Lansing

Target has announced plans to open a new store in downtown East Lansing near MSU.  It's expected to open in 2019.

The new store would be located along Grand River Avenue and Albert Avenue.  It's expected to be approximately 22,000 square feet, and would be part of the Center City District project.

That project proposes to include senior housing, and mixed market housing.  It also would include a  street level retail, a new 715 space parking structure and new utility infrastructure.

Public hearings for the proposed project's site plan and brownfield plan have been scheduled to take place at East Lansing City Council meeting on Tuesday, April 18 at 7 p.m.  Click here on wilx-tv 10 for more information.
