Sylvester Q. Pussycat's original first name - in his first appearance with Tweety in the 1947 cartoon “Tweetie Pie” - was "Thomas." His name was changed to “Sylvester” in the 1948 cartoon “Scaredy Cat.” My favorite cartoon character after Bugs Bunny!
