Subways Host 16th Annual Feed a Friend Food Drive

This is the 16th year that Jackson and Lansing area Subway restaurants are collecting canned goods, non perishable items and monetary donations.  We can all pitch in on Thursday March 17 at Feed a Friend throughout the entire day.

Over the past five years the combined efforts of the Subway restaurants of Lansing/Jackson and the Greater Lansing Food Bank have collected 50,000 pounds of food.

You can participate in this year's Subway Feed a Friend food drive by visiting local participating Subway restaurants.  Just bring in a canned good, a non perishable item or make a cash donation and receive a free 6 inch sandwich with the purchase of regularly price 6 inch sub.  Don't forget cash donations are always welcome.

Greater Lansing Food Bank also donates a large portion of the collected goods to smaller, local food pantries like Holt Community Food Bank and Our Savior Lutheran Food Bank.

Let's all pitch in on Thursday's Feed a Friend Food Drive at your local Lansing/Jackson Subway Restaurants.  You can always donate throughout the year to Greater Lansing Food Bank or the South Central Michigan Food Bank.
