Strange September Heat Wave of 2017

According to the Lansing State Journal, years from now, people might remember the strange September heat wave of 2017, when temperature records fell like dominoes for days on end.

The mercury hit 92 on Monday at Capital Region International Airport, beating the all time daily high temperature mark of 91 degrees, set nearly 100 years ago.

It was the fifth straight day that temperatures matched or exceeded the highest recorded temperature for that date.  Click on the above link to look at all of the weather related records that have been broken in the last several days.
