Sparty Statue Vandalized By…UM Fans?

Welllllll.....here we go.

Sparty has been vandalized.
Besmirched.
Defaced.
Defiled.
Ravaged.
Despoiled.
Soiled.
Dishonored.
Smeared.
Humiliated.
Degraded.
Mortified.
Belittled.
Harassed.
Ridiculed.
Spray painted.

Sometime - supposedly after Midnight Thursday into Friday morn, some (obviously) Michigan fans crept up Sparty and spray painted him in maize & blue.

It's believed that the spray-painting was done so the vandalism could be seen on ESPN, as this weekend's home game will be televised. What's a little odd is - it's not an MSU-UM game...the Spartans are playing the Oregon Ducks.
