Sometimes Longer Is Better

Yes, it's true, even though it's been argued many times. While driving the car, I've had numerous people tell me a "shorter" route to take; however, this "shorter" route can take me through cities, stop lights, slower speed limits, etc. But the route that may be longer mileage-wise --- like a highway that could go around and doubleback --- can be quicker thanks to the higher speed limit. This is a scenario I'm sure MANY people - usually couples - have had. It's an argument waiting to happen but not worth having.....so smile, keep yer cool and fill up the tank.
