Slide the City Coming Soon to Lansing

Michigan's capital city could be the site for a wet and wild ride this summer.  The website for a Salt Lake City based company called Slide the City says a 1,000 foot water slide is coming soon to Lansing.

Randy Hannan, Major Virg Bernero's executive assistant, wrote in an email the city has been aware of Slide the City's interest for several months.

Hannan said "It sounds like a great summer event for the city and we'll be excited to see it happen!"

Slide the City's website says water slide admission for the Lansing event will be $15 for a single ride, $40 for three rides and $60 for VIP access.  For more information, visit SLidetheCity.com/events/Lansing.
