Most of us remember the good old days hanging out at the Silver Dollar Saloon.  Good times shared by so many people here in Mid-Michigan.

If I remember correctly, Bob Seger played at the Silver Dollar, so did Rush and Kansas and Thirty Eight Special just to name a few.

Those days are long gone, but, more than 20 years after the Silver Dollar's closing, the gang is getting back together.

Rick and Linda Becker, who owned the Silver Dollar from 1975 to 1995, will host a Silver Dollar Saloon Reunion Tribute on September 23 at Tequila Cowboy on West Saginaw from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

Tickets are $39 through EventBrite at eventbrite.com.  Tickets also available at the door the night of the event.  Proceeds will go to two charities, Lansing Old Newsboy and the 100 Club of Greater Lansing.  The Lansing State Journal has more information.
