I have been attending Silver Bells in Downtown Lansing since my kids were so little I had to carry them.    For me it is a official kicking off of the Holiday Season, especially when I see Santa, and oh yes, I already have my list ready to go for him.

The Lighted Parade kicks off at 6pm, with beautiful floats and many area school marching bands.

of the State Christmas Tree, right in front of the Capitol and then a community sing along.     One of the most majestic things to watch is the fireworks display over the Capitol, it is just beautiful.

Reminder, the Silver Bells in the City parade starts at 6pm, and if you want a good view, I suggest you get there early because their will be thousands and thousands of people in downtown Lansing for this great event.
