I really enjoy talking with the listeners, and it's fun for
me to know that when playing music, it helps the listener's day along.
1st radio job 1981 in Detroit (Royal Oak).
1st Lansing radio Job, 1985 (at then "the Lazer").
I like going to the gym, I do a little volunteering at the hospital.
I love all kinds of music. Growing up, I think my teen sister at the time
inspired that.
My sister Shaun Murphy has been ( and still is) in Bob Seger's band
for many years. I'm hoping he does at least 1 more tour. She also was with Eric Clapton for the "Behind The Sun" tour and album. Also with Little feat, Michael Bolton, Meatloaf.

I have always been very proud of her. Also, she's the one years ago that helped
me pay for broadcasting school when I was 20.
I enjoy a wide variety of movies, (when I get a chance). 4 of my favorite movies are
1) Mr. Holland's opus..(great movie" about inspiring school kids in music, then saving music in the school).
2) American Graffitti.. what a fun movie, reminds me of a simpler era, and...great music soundtrack.
3) Beatles "A Hard days night"
4) The family man (w/ Nicolas cage). after a little rough and slow start, a great message movie on the importants of "family."
