William Shatner Gets Slammed For Missing Leonard Nimoy’s Funeral

William Shatner  - Captain Kirk - could not attend best pal Leonard Nimoy's funeral due to a commitment to appear at a charity fundraiser. Now, Spock fans are showing their outrage over his no-show.

However, I think Shatner did the right thing. He helped raise funds for the Red Cross and wound up helping others rather than thinking of his own feelings. The accompanying video shows that Shatner was extremely sad that he had to miss his best friend's funeral...just look at his facial expression.

Some will say he dissed Nimoy & the Nimoy family...but the family understands.
Too bad selfish "fans" don't.
