According to the Lansing State Journal, Lansing native and Sexton grad Duvale Murchison says he'll be coming home  later this month to scout locations for his urban romance drama "Sight Unseen."

The 54 year old Sexton High School grad grew up here, had a career with the Michigan Department of Corrections and retired in 2014.

Murchison says the plan is to shoot the entire movie in Lansing.  His reasons for coming back home are many.

One of Murchison's biggest reasons is that he can get so much more done because of his relationships with so many people.

Murchison would like to keep the filming in downtown Lansing.  He is interested in cafes and dining spots since there is a main local restaurant that everyone in the movie goes to.
