Sears Closing More Stores

Sears holding has announced that they have their eyes on 100 non profitable stores and some of those stores will face closure.

Our Sears in Frandor has been around for so long, I can't actually remember it not being there.    I am hopeful that that Sears is not on the companies list for closing.

Of the 100 stores that are not profitable, Sears says that 72 of them will be closed down.   Which stores will close?   Not sure, Sears says that they will be releasing a list later this afternoon to announce which Sears will close.

Such sad news to see so many stores close..   Sears was always the place I went to gift for my Dad, and it was usually for Craftsman tools.   My last dishwasher and washing machine both came from the Frandor Sears store.   I am really keeping my fingers crossed that our store will miss out on that closing list.  We have already seen so many stores in our areas close down.  Macys in the Lansing Mall, then we lost or are in the processing of losing Younkers, and there are so many other stores .
