ROADSIDE MICHIGAN: Junction Valley Railroad
Located at 7065 Dixie Highway, just southeast of Bridgeport, this little railroad is something perfect to take the kids to...or yourself.
This mini-railroad was built by the Stenger family and is a cute but complex railway; over 4 miles long, tunnel, trestles, roundhouse and more.
Families seem to flock to this place just to ride the mini-rails and there's plenty of engines, cars and room so you're practically guaranteed a seat aboard.
What else is there to do once your ride is over? There's a picnic area and hobby shop as well as on-site playgrounds for the kids. As you see on the picture on the right, it's not far from here at all.
