A University of Michigan Graduate plans to run, a lot.  Barclay Oudersluys is a Nuclear Engineering Graduate who is going to start Law School at the University of California in the fall, but this is not before his big plans.

On Saturday, the Birmingham native will begin a 3,200  mile run from California's Santa Monica Yacht Harbor to Marshall Point Lighthouse in Main.

The distance works out to 3,200 miles in 100 days, so that means that he will have to run about 32 miles every single day.

The route he is taking is apparently similar to the one Tom Hanks character ran in the movie Forrest Gump.

He will be using any money made ( he would like to raise 10,000$ ) to help fight world poverty.

Hmmmm, I wonder how many pairs of shoes he will run through.
