Plenty to do in Lansing This Weekend

When it comes to the weekend, people are always looking for ways to get out of the house to have some fun.  Here are several activities taking place that might be of interest to you and your family.

Disney's Beauty and the Beast is getting special treatment this Saturday.  The first 80 people who show up at NCG Eastwood Towne Center with their Capital Area District Libraries card or sign up for one on site get a free popcorn and drink combo.

The 43rd Annual Maple Syrup festival is attended by close to 3,000 people each year.  This event will take place Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fenner Nature Center.  Admission is free and you can see first hand how nature's own liquid gold is turned into syrup, sugar, creme and cotton candy.
