Okemos Girls Lacrosse team to face top-ranked East Grand Rapids

The Okemos girls lacrosse team will return to the state finals and face top-ranked East Grand Rapids, the team that eliminated them in the state semifinals last year and defeated them in the finals in 2012.

The championship game is set for Saturday at 4:30p.m. at Rockford.

Okemos senior Ovivia Sherman says "we are really hoping to come out on top.  We have a lot of girls on offense that can score.  We are looking for a good game on Saturday."
