Okemos Asian Buffet to Open New Brewpub

The owners of the Asian Buffet are opening a new restaurant featuring American food and Michigan craft beers.   It will be located at 4926 Marsh Road, immediately west of the buffet.

Both are in the busy Meridian Towne Center across from the Meridian Mall.  A bar with 24 beer taps, most of them craft beers, will greet customers as they walk in, and there will be big screen TVs above it.

Pub Meridian & Banquet Center is slated to open in about three weeks.  The place will seat 50 to 60 people.  A grand opening is anticipated just before the fall football season.   There will be food items such as gourmet burgers, mussels, poutine and truffle fries.

The 1,200 square foot pub will have a shuffleboard table, dart boards and tabletops made with wood from a bowling alley.  Here's the latest from the Lansing State Journal.
