Newly Built Outback Steakhouse Opens December 13 in Delta Township

According to the Lansing State Journal, a newly built Outback Steakhouse restaurant taking the place of one that's less than a mile down Saginaw Highway is set to open Dec. 13.

The 5,633 square foot restaurant on North Canal Road is adjacent to a five story, 122 room Hilton Garden Inn hotel and retail center that are both being constructed on Saginaw Highway near the Interstate 96 interchange.

The Outback restaurant is 1,000 square feet larger than the restaurant's previous Delta Township location in a plaza off Saginaw Highway.

The restaurant will employ 130 people, 45 of which are new hires.  The previous Outback location in Delta Township employed 75 people.
