The roundabout at Washington Square and Michigan Avenue will have a new look next year, thanks to the Capital Region Community Foundation.

The community foundation is leading, and fully funding, a new public art project to install a unique sculpture in the roundabout, which is one block in front of the State Capitol in downtown Lansing.

The foundation is investing $100,000 to complete the project, the result of an idea submitted in the community foundation's 2017 Penny for Your Thoughts idea campaign.  The campaign generated about 50 submissions.  Click here on Lansing State Journal for more information.
