Lansing United plans to field a new amateur women's soccer team beginning this spring.  The team will include high level collegiate players from the Lansing area.

The Lansing team will play in the same division as UWS teams based in Grand Rapids, Pontiac and Brighton.

The team is the second amateur women's team to be formed in the Lansing area over the past two years.

The Michigan Chill SC, part of the Women's Premier Soccer League, played one season at the Hope Soccer Complex in 2016.  The Lansing State Journal.
