National Moment of Silence Tonight

Lansing will observe a moment of silence against police brutality along with the rest of the nation tonight at 7.  The Lansing State Journal reports that the moment of silence follows violent protests in Missouri after the shooting of unarmed teenager Michael Brown. Lansing is planning a peaceful event on the east steps of the Capital supporters will wear a red bandanas on their right arm.   You can follow the twitter hashtag #NMOS14 for morre information.
