More than 14,000 boy scouts and adults took place in a National Order of the Arrow Conference Thursday on MSU's campus.

For the scouts, it's a chance to brainstorm ideas on how to improve the outdoor experience for kids, which is how the organization got started.  The conference also serves as a training program.

Clyde Mayer, director of the National Order of the Arrow said, "one of the things we're very focused on these days is leadership development in the order of the arrow."

Clyde also said, "this gives us an opportunity to bring people here, both youth and adults, hopefully enhancing their leadership skills."
