If you have traveled much around the country you have seen some beautiful cities , and each State has their own , according to a recent poll.  Lets take a look at a few.

Indiana:  The town of Nashville is a beauty and that and Art are one of the main reasons that people love to go to this town,  This small town has 3 stoplights and a population of 803.  Nashville, Indiana has wonderful bed and breakfasts, cottages, great restaurants and wonderful art galleries, shops, and antique dealers.

Georgia: Savannah, I personally love this charming city.  With its beautiful Antebellum architecture, it is visually stunning and has some of the best restaurants in the country.  Savannah is known to be the most haunted city in America , so that makes their nightly ghost tours super fun!

Florida:  St. Augustine is a cobblestoned town with over 400 years of history.  It is easily the prettiest town in Florida.  Wonderful shopping and great restaurants and the beauty of this town is amazing.

Connecticut:  Mystic, this is a village of a little over four thousand people, but it is a popular tourist spot due to its scenic marinas, shopping and aquarium.

California:  Carmel-by-the-Sea.   This is a small yet popular destination in Monterey Bay.  So small that it only takes five minutes to walk across the entire town.   Just because it is small there is still a lot to see.....wonderful Art Galleries, Cafes, beautiful beaches, and a few celebrities.

Arizona: Bisbee, this little town began as a mining town in the Mule Mountains and it is now a quaint town of artists and very interesting old architectural styles.  Worth the drive.

Maryland:  Chesapeake city.  This charming small town has a population of just over 700 and is located on the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal.  The beautiful waterfront which is lined by trees makes it one of the most scenic spots in the mid-Atlantic region, especially during the fall.

Drum roll.........

MICHIGAN:  Mackinac Island or as many refer to it as a hidden gem.   For many of us our summer is not complete without a trip to the beautiful Island.  No car's allowed for transportation its bikes, horses, or your feet.  I recommend an overnight stay on the Island at least once.   If you do, splurge and stay at the Grand Hotel, elegance that should be experienced at least once in your life time.

Well, if you are not sure where to head on your summer vacation, I just gave you some ideas.  Hope you enjoy!
