It's time to prepare for holiday traffic.  If you plan to hit the road for the holidays, chances are you are going to be stuck in a lot of traffic.

According to wfla.com, AAA is predicting the highest holiday travel in 10 years.  54 million people will be traveling for the Thanksgiving holiday. and 90 percent of them are going by car.

Experts say if you want to avoid the rush, you should head out today.  Because Tuesday and Wednesday are going to be the worst.  If you don't have far to go, driving Thanksgiving Day is your best bet.

According to the latest report, the worst cities for travel are going to be New York, Boston and San Francisco, where traffic can add more than four hours to your trip at peak times.
